Choose Europe

Kickoff for the "Choose Europe" program: 14 European business development agencies have come together to form a network with the aim of jointly positioning Europe as an ideal location for international companies seeking economic success, sustainable growth and regional resilience. Emphasizing common values and differentiating specific assets to strengthen a prosperous European economic model is the objective of this informal group of European Agencies that have committed to long-term cooperation. The network currently includes the cities and regions of Amsterdam, Catalonia, Berlin, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Lyon, Bavaria, Paris, Riga, Stockholm, Vienna, Warsaw and Zurich.

The "Choose Europe" campaign is launched on 29th September in Helsinki and initially targets North America. It will focus on digital channels and several physical events taking place in European cities, such as Web Summit in Lisboa and MIPIM in Cannes.

Dr. Stefan Franzke, Managing Director of Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie: "As economic developers, we are actually in competition. At the same time, however, we are aware of our regional and geographical strengths. Ultimately, there are many things we have in common and, above all, we are united by the same values: diversity, freedom and cohesion. That's why I'm convinced that if we join forces, it will benefit the entire European region."
