New York, New York

Sustainability is the big umbrella term under which a delegation with the support of Berlin Partner will travel to New York in mid-September to get to know the New York ecosystem, explore the local market, meet key decision makers, and generally make new contacts.

This Clean Tech Mission, organized by Urban Innovation, is aimed at organizations that focus on the sustainable transformation of urban spaces and offer innovative solutions in areas such as clean tech, mobility and proptech.

The program also includes exciting visits such as the Greentech Festival New York, which brings together people, ideas, innovations, companies and organizations that stand for inclusive, sustainable and ethical values. From the participating startups on the trip, one will be selected to pitch on stage at the Greentech Festival.

Sustainability in nightlife and the club scene is what the "Berlin meets NYC" event "Sustainable Nightlife - Let's talk green" is all about: What are the challenges for club owners? How can sustainability measures be implemented and what best practices already exist?

The Clean Tech Mission is organized by Urban Innovation, a program of the Berlin-Brandenburg Energy Network, in cooperation with Berlin Partner for Business and Technology and Berlin Business Office, USA. Other cooperation partners for the individual program components in NYC include NYCEDC, NYC Department of Transportation, NYC Office of Nightlife at the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment, Newlab, SAP Experience Center New York, Goethe-Institut,GACC New York and German Consulate General New York.
