FIBE – Berlin’s first Fintech Festival

Berlin, 24 April 2024 – From Berlin to the world: From 24 to 25 April, the international Fintech community will meet at the first FIBE Festival in Berlin’s CityCube. The steadily growing FinTech scene in the metropolis on the Spree is thus entering the big (event) stage for the first time: For two days, international industry insiders, experts and stakeholders from the FinTech ecosystem will exchange views on trends and challenges relating to the exciting symbiosis of technology and finance.

Berlin is the hotspot of the Fintech scene. Nowhere else in Germany are more innovations being developed in the field of digital, data-driven banking. A third of all German FinTech start-ups are based on the Spree – making the capital the number one location for FinTechs within the EU and number six internationally.

The festival is organised by the Berlin Finance Initiative (BFI), Handelsblatt and Messe Berlin. As one of the idea generators and official partner of the festival, Berlin Partner is also involved in the implementation of the event and organises the pre-party in the well-known Berlin club Watergate. In addition, the Berlin Partner stand will provide interested parties with information on offers and services as well as the opportunity to network. FIBE is not only designed as a congress, but also as a trade fair and combines traditional banking with the up-and-coming FinTech sector through various event formats. In addition to classic keynotes, participants have the opportunity to attend limited master classes, networking sessions, workshops and selected mini-events. A varied programme that reflects the exciting dynamics of the European FinTech ecosystem and is intended to encourage the already well-connected scene to interact in an enriching way.

FIBE is a combination of the words “FinTech” and “Berlin” – and thus unmistakably unites the relevance of technological innovations in the financial world and the attractiveness of Berlin as a location. This becomes clear in the official trailer of the festival, which generates anticipation and excitement in equal measure. A click that’s well worth it!

Further information about the event, the programme, the ambassadors and tickets can be found on the official FIBE website
