Dr. Stefan Franzke takes office


Dual leadership for a strong Berlin: Berlin Partner for Business and Technology will now be run by two Managing Directors

From today on, Dr. Stefan Franzke will manage Berlin Partner for Business and Technology together with current Managing Director Melanie Bähr. The establishment of a dual leadership marks the completion of an important planned step following the merger. Dr. Franzke was previously the Managing Director of the Innovation Center Lower Saxony having long year experience in dealing with politics, economy and science. Melanie Bähr, who has been managing Berlin Partner since 2011, and Dr. Stefan Franzke will join forces to assert the business and technology location Berlin in the international competition.

Dr. Stefan Franzke was most recently the Managing Director of the Innovation Center Lower Saxony and Innovatives Niedersachsen GmbH. As the head of the innovation center, Dr. Franzke intensified his know-how in in the field of strategy consulting for innovations and key technologies and advised international investors in their relocation process to Lower Saxony. As the Managing Director of Innovatives Niedersachsen, he was responsible for the national and international marketing of the federal state.
