Berlin Cuisine

Max Jensen, CEO of Berlin Cuisine Jensen GmbH

1. Describe your company.

Our food and beverage concepts surprise and delight. Since 2013, Berlin Cuisine has stood for spectacular event catering and innovative food concepts. We blend innovation with tradition, combine regional products with international flavors, and create culinary experiences that captivate. Our motto: Contemporary Taste. Unmistakable and unforgettable.

2. Why are you involved as a Berlin-Partner?

Because we are deeply rooted in Berlin and firmly believe that this city is a global hub for creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We need strong networks to strengthen the economic location together and advance with new, sustainable concepts. One of our goals at Berlin Cuisine is: We connect people with taste. With Berlin Partner, we can contribute to creating even more connections and shaping the future of Berlin together.

3. What topics drive you in relation to your industry?

Our industry needs to become more sustainable, that’s clear to us. We see ourselves as pioneers in this area, with sustainability being a core part of our company philosophy. We are pleased with everyone in the industry who shares this view and follows suit, because together we can make a strong contribution.

4. What makes Berlin special for you?

Berlin is pure energy! With its many cultures, countless gastronomic influences come together here, making it the most exciting gastro-location in Germany. It’s the unique locations, international congresses, and the mix of politics, business, and culture – everything happens here simultaneously. This inspires us to continually push our food concepts and set new standards. Berlin gives us the space to think big and act big.

5. Why is Berlin attractive for your company?

The dynamic environment in Berlin offers a unique combination of events, politics, business, the tech industry, and culture. Different influences converge here, making Berlin the perfect place for our culinary fusions. Regional products merge with international taste. Additionally, the city provides access to creative networks and a sophisticated, cosmopolitan clientele. This inspiring environment allows us to continuously develop our innovative food and beverage concepts.

6. What does Berlin stand for to you?

Berlin is both inspiration and freedom. The city stands for power, diversity, and the courage to move forward and try new things. Different cultures and a lot of creativity come together here, and innovation is driven in many areas, especially gastronomically for me. This city thrives on its contrasts and energy, where people meet, exchange ideas, and implement projects. For us, Berlin is the place to connect taste and experience; here we can constantly evolve and never stand still – that’s Berlin, and it suits us.

7. How does your company implement the topic of sustainability?

For Berlin Cuisine, sustainability means acting economically, ecologically, and socially responsibly at all levels. Berlin Cuisine takes a pioneering role in the event industry, underscored by our EMAS registration, ISO 14001 environmental management certification, and our membership in the UN Global Compact. Sustainability is not a trend for Berlin Cuisine but an important part of our company philosophy.

When it comes to our products, we prefer to use regional and seasonal ingredients, minimize transport routes, and continuously work on reducing waste. We live sustainability with…
